One day for a residential garage or basement. Foot traffic in about 4–6 hours after the final topcoat, vehicles back on it in about 24 hours.
Yes. Harrisburg is a straight run west from our Ephrata shop and part of our Dauphin County coverage, along with Steelton, Paxtang, Penbrook, Susquehanna Township, Colonial Park and across the river into Camp Hill and Lemoyne.
A wider mix than anywhere else we work. The city has far more small commercial and light industrial floor than the rural parts of our area — independent service bays, a shop or workroom behind a storefront, a warehouse aisle, a mechanical room, a back-of-house kitchen floor. Then there is the residential side: rowhomes and older city twins with poured basements and, where there is a garage at all, a single bay off an alley. Most weeks in Harrisburg have both on the schedule.
Two things that a home garage does not have. First, history. A commercial slab has almost always been painted, sealed or coated before, sometimes several times, and often patched with whatever was to hand. All of it has to come off. Diamond grinding takes the old film away and opens the profile underneath in the same pass, which is one more reason we never acid etch — etching leaves residue and a soft surface, and the new coating then bonds to the failure rather than to the concrete.
Second, joints and drains. Control joints in a shop slab exist to let the concrete move. Fill them flush with something rigid and the slab will simply crack somewhere you did not choose. We keep working joints as joints, fill the ones that have stopped moving, and detail around floor drains and trench grates so water still runs where it should. Coving up the wall is available where the floor gets washed down. The commercial specifics are on commercial floor coating.
Less than you think, and that is the main reason we use polyaspartic rather than epoxy on working floors. Foot traffic returns about four to six hours after the final clear coat and vehicle traffic in about twenty-four, so a bay that closes Friday evening is usually taking cars again Monday. We schedule around your hours rather than ours, and where square footage means more than one day we give you a day count at the estimate rather than a guess over the phone.
They behave like the older city stock in Reading and York. Slabs poured decades ago with no vapor barrier under them, a carbonated surface that dusts, open control joints and spalling near a drain or an old water heater. So the job is weighted toward repair: chase and fill cracks, grind back and rebuild spalled areas to level, and moisture test before quoting, because vapor coming up through a slab will blister a coating off regardless of how well it was prepared. A coating is not a waterproofing system and we will say so. More on basement floor coating, and the residential garage build is on garage floor coating.
Both. Polyaspartic cures in temperatures that stop epoxy, so an unheated warehouse or a back bay in January is still a workable slab, and winter is often the only quiet stretch a working building can give up its floor. Every step is shown on how it works. Contact us and we will come and look.

No hot-tire pickup, no ambering in sunlight, and the apron where the door meets the driveway gets the same treatment as the rest.

We check the slab for moisture first, then grind it open so the coating keys into the concrete instead of sitting on residue.

A textured finish that stays grippy wet and does not yellow, because polyaspartic is UV-stable.
Tell us the room, roughly how big it is and when you want it done. We will measure, look at the slab and give you a price that does not move.
