Basement Floor

A finished basement living area in a dark charcoal flake blend, run continuously through the open room and out along the corridor. The dark tone works here because the walls are light and the space is lit properly, and a seamless coated floor avoids the joints and seams where a below-grade floor normally fails. This is a finish study of a real floor we photographed, not a record of a specific job.

The same basement room photographed at four stages: the bare stained slab, the diamond grinder mid-pass, the open profiled concrete after grinding, and the finished coated floor. It is the clearest illustration we have of why preparation is the part of the job that decides whether a floor lasts. Coated concrete taken out of the garage and into the living areas of the house, in a kitchen and a bathroom. The appeal indoors is that the floor is a bonded, seamless surface with no grout lines, no plank joints and nothing underneath it for water to get into. This is a finish study of real floors we photographed, not a record of a specific job.

Patio & Pool Deck

A full pool surround and patio finished in a light warm stone blend with an anti-slip aggregate broadcast into the final clear coat. The light tone keeps the surface from loading up with heat in full sun, and the encapsulated aggregate gives grip underfoot that does not wash off. This is a finish study of a real deck we photographed, not a record of a specific job.

Garage Floor

A two-car garage with cream walls finished in a warm sandstone flake blend, coated under and around fixed wall cabinets. The warm tone sits with the wall color instead of fighting it, and it hides the light brown dust that comes off a drive better than a grey blend would. This is a finish study of a real floor we photographed, not a record of a specific job.

A working garage and shop finished in a mid-tone granite grey flake blend, wall to wall and out to the door line. The blend carries black, white and pale grey chips, which is what lets a floor that sees tools, tires and yard grit still read as clean between sweeps. This is a finish study of a real floor we photographed, not a record of a specific job.

A coating is only as good as the concrete under it. Here's one real basement at each stage of our install, so you can see the prep work that makes a floor last.

During the grind

Diamond grinding, never acid etching. The machine cuts the surface off rather than softening it.

Questions about our work

Can I see a floor in person?

We can usually arrange it. Photos only go so far — sheen and flake density read differently in a real room. Tell us which finish you are considering and we will see what we can set up near you in the six counties we cover.

Do you have references?

Yes, and we can arrange them. We do not publish customer names or numbers on the site, so ask at the estimate and we will put you in touch with people whose floors are comparable to yours.

How old are the oldest floors you have done?

Ask us directly and we will tell you what we have on the ground and how it has held up. The coating carries a lifetime warranty, and we are local enough to go back and look at any floor we have installed.

Can I talk to a past customer?

We can arrange that. We ask permission first rather than handing out contact details, so give us a little notice and we will match you with someone who had a similar slab — same kind of basement, same garage size — so the conversation is actually useful.
