Yes. Chester County, Pennsylvania is a regular run for us from our Ephrata base in Lancaster County — straight east across the county line. We work West Chester, Coatesville, Downingtown, Exton, Malvern, Phoenixville, Kennett Square, Oxford and Parkesburg. It is a longer drive than our home county, so we plan Chester County work in blocks and load the trailer for the whole job before we leave. You are not waiting on us to drive back for material.
Bigger and newer, on the whole. A lot of the housing stock here was built in the last thirty years, which means three-car and sometimes four-car garages, walk-out basements either finished or waiting to be finished, and real square footage of exterior concrete — pool decks, patios, the walkways between them. The slabs are generally in good condition: well poured, level, no great amount of spalling. The work is less about repair and more about surface preparation and coverage.
That flat, well-finished slab is exactly the one that fools people into thinking it needs less prep. It needs more. A hard power-troweled surface is closed, and a coating rolled onto a closed surface sits on top of it rather than keying into it. Park a car on it and the warm tires lift the film off in a patch — that is hot-tire pickup, and it is the most common way a garage floor fails. Diamond grinding is what prevents it, and it is why we never acid etch. The sequence is laid out on how it works.
Because there is so much of it. A Chester County pool deck is often one large pour with a broom finish, and it takes a different specification than a garage: a texture additive in the topcoat so it is not slick when wet, a UV-stable clear that will not yellow in open sun, and real attention to the edge where the deck meets the coping and the transition into the house. Polyaspartic is the right chemistry outdoors for exactly that reason — it does not amber. Details are on patio and pool deck coating.
We see more of these here than anywhere else we work. A Chester County basement is frequently a finished or half-finished living space — a bar, a gym, a theater room — and the floor has to read as flooring rather than as a garage. We keep lighter and warmer blends for that. We still grind, and we still test for moisture first: a walk-out basement with a hillside behind it can carry real vapor drive whatever the finished walls look like. See basement floor coating.
We schedule Chester County around the drive, which in practice means we will offer you a day rather than a window, and turn up early on it. A two- or three-car garage is still a one-day install. Large pool decks and multi-room basements can run to two days, and we will say so up front rather than discovering it at four in the afternoon. Foot traffic returns about four to six hours after the final clear; vehicles in about twenty-four.
Yes, year round. Polyaspartic cures in temperatures that stop epoxy, so an unheated garage in January is still a working day for us. Exterior pool deck work is the one exception where we watch the forecast, because we need a dry slab and no rain landing on a fresh coat.
Pick a blend on colors and finishes, or contact us and we will come and look at the slab.
If you are in one of these, start here — each page covers the same work closer to home.

No hot-tire pickup, no ambering in sunlight, and the apron where the door meets the driveway gets the same treatment as the rest.

We check the slab for moisture first, then grind it open so the coating keys into the concrete instead of sitting on residue.

A textured finish that stays grippy wet and does not yellow, because polyaspartic is UV-stable.
Tell us the room, roughly how big it is and when you want it done. We will measure, look at the slab and give you a price that does not move.
