Yes. Lancaster is about fifteen miles south of our Ephrata shop, roughly twenty-five minutes, so it is comfortably inside our home-county range. We work the city itself along with East Petersburg, Neffsville, Rohrerstown, Millersville, Mountville and Willow Street.
Because of what the city is built out of. Lancaster is dense, older housing — rowhomes and twins from the late 1800s through the 1930s, built to the sidewalk, with narrow lots. Many of those homes have no garage at all, and the ones that do have a single detached bay off a rear alley. So the floor most Lancaster homeowners actually want to do something about is the basement: the one room in the house with real square footage that is still bare, dusty concrete.
That is a genuinely different job from coating a modern attached garage, and we approach it differently. See basement floor coating for the full sequence.
Old, and rarely uniform. A city rowhome basement slab was typically poured by hand over cinder, stone or plain dirt, with no vapor barrier beneath it. It has usually been broken into at some point — for a sewer line, a sump, an oil tank that came out, a coal chute that got filled in — and patched with a mix that does not match. The surface paste has carbonated, which is why it powders every time you sweep. Expect variation in height across a single room, and expect old patch lines to need grinding down flat before anything else.
Often, and it is the first thing we check. With no vapor barrier under the slab, ground water moves up through the concrete as vapor, and in a rowhome with neighbors on both sides there is nowhere for it to go. We tape a plastic sheet down overnight to see what comes up, and we run calcium chloride testing where the number matters. Coating over an active vapor drive causes blistering and delamination, sometimes within months. If your slab is too wet, we will tell you before you have paid for anything — that is not us being difficult, it is the difference between a floor that lasts and a floor you pay for twice.
We do plenty of them. A single detached city garage is a small floor with two specific problems: freeze-thaw spalling along the apron where the slab meets the alley, and access. The slab gets diamond ground the same as anything else, cracks chased and filled, spalled edges rebuilt, then base coat, flake broadcast by hand to rejection and two clear polyaspartic topcoats. Details on garage floor coating.
A typical city basement or single garage is a one-day install. Foot traffic returns about four to six hours after the final clear coat, vehicles at about twenty-four. We install year round — polyaspartic cures in temperatures that leave epoxy soft, so an unheated city basement in January is not a reason to wait until spring.
Lancaster sits at the center of Lancaster County. Have a look at colors and finishes — lighter blends make a big difference in a basement with small windows — and contact us when you are ready.

No hot-tire pickup, no ambering in sunlight, and the apron where the door meets the driveway gets the same treatment as the rest.

We check the slab for moisture first, then grind it open so the coating keys into the concrete instead of sitting on residue.

A textured finish that stays grippy wet and does not yellow, because polyaspartic is UV-stable.
Tell us the room, roughly how big it is and when you want it done. We will measure, look at the slab and give you a price that does not move.
