Spartic Coatings is a leading provider of polyaspartic floor coating services throughout Pennsylvania. As a family-owned business, we believe that if you put your name on something, you should stand behind it with quality craftsmanship and exceptional service.
Spartic Coatings is a concrete floor coating company based at 33 Lee Aly in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, serving Lancaster, Chester, Berks, Dauphin, York and Lebanon counties. We install polyaspartic flake systems: the slab is diamond ground rather than acid etched, flake is broadcast by hand to rejection, and two clear polyaspartic topcoats go over it. A typical residential garage or basement is installed in one day — foot traffic in about four to six hours, vehicle traffic in about twenty-four. The system carries a lifetime warranty, and the written warranty document comes with the quote.
Not the brand on the bucket. What decides whether a floor is still bonded in ten years is the preparation underneath it and the number of coats over it. Our method is fixed, and it runs the same way on a two-car garage as it does on a finished basement.
[To be supplied by client: year founded and the size of the install crew. Nothing has been estimated in this copy.]

Most of what goes wrong with a coated floor traces back to a shortcut taken on the day. These are the four we refuse to take. There is a fifth that is not about the floor at all: the number you get at the estimate is the number on the invoice. If we open the slab up and find something neither of us expected, we stop and talk to you about it — we do not write a surprise change order and keep going.
Acid etching is the cheap substitute for grinding. It roughens the very top of the slab, leaves residue sitting in the pores, and cannot touch an old sealer or paint at all. We diamond grind, one hundred percent of the time.
A one-day floor with one coat over the flake is a thin floor. Two clear polyaspartic topcoats go on every job, because the second one is what actually takes the wear.
If water is moving through the slab, a coating traps it and the bond fails from underneath. We test before we quote a basement, and when the reading is high we tell you what the slab needs first rather than selling you a floor that will lift.
Preparation is the part of the job that decides the outcome, so it does not get handed to someone else. The crew that grinds your slab is the crew that coats it.
We work out of Ephrata, in Lancaster County, and we cover six Pennsylvania counties from there: Lancaster, Chester, Berks, Dauphin, York and Lebanon. Most of that service area sits within two hours of the shop, which is what makes a one-day install practical — the crew, the grinders, the vacuums and the material all arrive in the morning, and the floor is finished before they leave.
Ephrata is the base, not the boundary. If you are out toward the edge of that map, ask anyway; it is a short conversation and we would rather give you a straight yes or no than have you guess. The county-by-county breakdown is on the service areas page, finished floors from around the region are on the projects page, and if you want to compare the material against epoxy first, start with polyaspartic vs epoxy.
The flake color and the gloss level change from room to room. The grinding, the hand broadcast and the two clear topcoats do not.

It is a measuring appointment, not a sales presentation. This is the whole of it.
Yes — Spartic Coatings is licensed and insured, and we can send you the paperwork before anyone starts work on your slab. Ask for it at the estimate if you would rather see it up front; it is a normal request and we are not offended by it.
Our own crew does the work, and that includes the grinding. Preparation is the step that decides whether the coating stays bonded, so it is not something we hand off — the people who open up your concrete are the people who coat it the same day.
We cover six Pennsylvania counties from Ephrata: Lancaster, Chester, Berks, Dauphin, York and Lebanon. Most of that area is within two hours from the shop, which is what lets us grind, coat and finish a residential floor in a single day. If you are just past the edge, call and ask rather than assuming.
Look at the slab yourself before the base coat goes down — a properly ground floor is visibly open and uniformly dull, with no glossy patches of old sealer and no smooth skin left in the low spots. We will stop and show you the profiled concrete, and we photograph it as a matter of course. If a company will not show you the slab between grinding and coating, that is worth asking about.
[To be supplied by client: PA contractor registration number, insurance carrier and certificate, manufacturer training or certifications, and any awards or trade affiliations you want listed here. None have been invented.]
Tell us the room, roughly how big it is and when you want it done. We will measure, look at the slab and give you a price that does not move.
